April 2020 Newsletter

April is here! The last few weeks have definitely been a little unusual as we adapt to the COVID-19 changes. I pray this finds all of you well and finding ways to adapt to these new challenges.

Currently I am putting out weekly plans for my families to follow and use to keep the learning progressing while we are unable to meet in face to face. I pray that these plans help the families to this new way of learning outside of the classroom and keep the children engaged and excited about learning. I have found myself as a spouse, mother, and educator making many changes to what was our norm, but also looking at this change as a great way to re-evaluate what is important. This virus has forced us to go back to a simpler time and I am very thankful for that, despite some of the challenges. We live in such a fast passed world and it is very easy for us to forget the importance of some of those simpler times. Below I put a passage that can serve as a great reminder of the help our Lord gives us and that he is always there for us.

"So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."

Isaiah 41:10
